The journey of Just Think Ltd. began over 35 years ago in the basement of my childhood home in Sylvania, Ohio where I had a permanent classroom set up. Fully equipped with lesson plans, leftover worksheets from Mrs. Fraley, my 2nd grade teacher, a seating chart and 23 imaginary students that I knew by heart. The desire to teach, lead, love, empower and fill the foundations of our youngest learners has been a passion rooted deeply in my heart that has seemingly always been present. I went on to earn my bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the University of Findlay in 2001 and my Masters in Reading and Literacy from Walden University in 2006. I began my teaching career at the Toledo Academy of Learning teaching 31 second graders! Sylvania Schools has been my home for 20 years. My experience includes 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th grades. Over the years, I have ran many book clubs for family, friends and students. During 2020 I began tutoring for the first time. I was blessed to work with two young creative minds that love learning. They helped me see how much I loved the idea of digging deep with individual students and helping them develop their confidence in thinking critically. From all of these experiences the idea of Just Think was birthed. It is in these years that I evolved and learned what it means to be a true educator who cultivates a learning environment in which all learners have the potential to sprout, progress, and flourish.
With four amazingly special children of my own, I fully understand the desire to provide opportunities, experiences, and enrichment to challenge and grow our children not only as budding scholars but as citizens of their world. This holds especially true in the summer months when we are looking to fill their days with meaningful memories and childhood experiences that grow them. My true passion lies in empowering young minds to gain not just knowledge but more importantly tools that will help shape them to be problem solvers who think critically and creatively. Not just temporary tools, but ones that will be in their backpack their entire lives as they carve their own individual and uniquely rich pathways. Over the years, my own children and I have done countless book clubs, educational adventures, science experiments, and summer school work with cousins and friends to keep the mind open and moving. This same passion, love of learning, and drive to never stop growing is what is at the core of Just Think, Ltd.

We believe that intelligence is teachable and it’s characteristics can be developed when planted in the right environment. Enrichment is achieved through our uniquely designed classes, camps, clubs, and tutoring sessions. You can expect each experience to have critical thinking skills woven into it’s makeup along with creative activities, ideas, and discussions. All accomplished while improving teamwork, communication, and intrapersonal skills with others that are necessary strengths in today’s world.
